Jeremy Nickel is proud to unveil the newest brand in his extraordinary lineup of Napa Valley wines, Jeremy Nickel Cellars.
The 2015 Jeremy Nickel Cellars Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is the inaugural release for this new project and we've come out swinging with this phenomenal Cab.
The grapes were grown on Atlas Peak at an elevation of 950 feet and were barrel fermented in 50% new French oak, then aged in 80% new French oak.
The wine is dense, rich, inky-colored wine offering earthy almost charcoal ember-like notes with plenty of blackberry and cassis fruit.
This is a substantial, unfined and unfiltered, full-throttle, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon built for long-term cellaring and should easily last a quarter of a century.
Only 240 cases produced.
