Tasting Notes
The 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a broad, expansive approach marked by tobacco leaf, crème de cassis, shaved chocolate and loamy soil. Offering full-bodied richness, the wine is at once hedonistic and elegant, leading to a structured, energetic and seamless finish. This is a wine that can be approached in the next 4-5 years but can easily age for another 25-30.
2018 Vintage
Napa Valley boasted “beautiful, steady conditions” for the 2018 growing season. Rain was abundant in February, and endless days of sunshine followed. Vines flowered uniformly, paving the way for even cluster development. Cabernet Sauvignon benefitted from warm days and cool nights, resulting in extended hang time. The vintage was characterized by complex flavors and excellent quality.
