Special offer for Father's Day. Shipping included on the purchase of the 2014 TVH Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum.
2014 marked the debut of 100% estate fruit from TVH’s surrounding vineyards . . . and what a debut it was! Dark black cherry fruit tiptoes in blackberry with subtle hints of anise, black pepper, and perfumed violets. Concentrated fruit envelops a moderate to firm tannin structure giving Cabernet lovers the balanced backbone they crave out of the chutes. While throttled back power and elegance reign supreme now, I can’t wait to see the complexities that will continue to develop as this wine ages to perfection.
Tasting Notes: Meyer lemon, nectarine, flowers, pastry, and sweet spice all meld into a big wine that’s light on its feet. The 2019 Chard performs a balancing act of power with grace; the weight and depth are encapsulated with bright acidity. Perfect for fish, mild cheeses, lobster potpies if you’re feeling fancy, or just on the porch with your loved ones.
Tasting Notes The 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon possesses a broad, expansive approach marked by tobacco leaf, crème de cassis, shaved chocolate and loamy soil. Offering full-bodied richness, the wine is at once hedonistic and elegant, leading to a structured, energetic and seamless finish. This is a wine that can be approached in the next 4-5 years but can easily age for another 25-30.
Tasting Notes: The 2018 Block 8 “The Boss” Cabernet Sauvignon bursts from the glass with violets, black fruit, graphite, crushed stone and tobacco. The wine is a blockbuster brimming with a voluptuous fullbodiedness, seamless texture and an everlasting finish. This is the highest elevation on the property, bordered by such luminaries as Harlan Estate and Futo Estate. It is already approachable but will reward collectors over the next 40 years.
Tasting Notes: Sporting a deep purple color, this plush, sexy, fullbodied estate Cabernet Franc from the Hermosa Vineyard shows loads of wildflowers, graphite, cassis and deep, dark blue fruits. Sweet tannins, vibrant, but super-integrated tannins lead to a beautiful, persistent finish.
Tasting Notes: The wine is golden in color with fine bubbles that lift the aromatics of biscuit dough, toasted brioche, Meyer lemon, crushed rock, and beeswax. The soft mouse ignites the senses and plush and velvety mouthfeel balanced with crisp acidity entices the drinker to keep sipping. This limited-production bottling is an elegantly layered masterpiece made from 100% Estate Chardonnay from our Block 4, harvested at the precise moment to retain freshness and verve, yet profile the beautiful fruit character that our vineyards produce.
